Resumes submitted online will not be considered active unless a City of Mount Airy Application is also submitted. Applications are only accepted for open positions. Applicants are subject to medical exam, drug screening, background check, and DMV record check for positions that require the regular operation of a city vehicle. Some positions may also require a psychological examination and a polygraph. Failure to pass any of these tests will disqualify an applicant from further consideration for employment.
Under the Immigration, Reform and Control Act of 1986, all new hires will be required to provide appropriate documentation to establish identity to work in the United States.
