Reeves Community Center's after school program promotes a healthy lifestyle for children entering kindergarten through age 12. While in our care, children enjoy active gym time, an on-site computer lab where they can receive homework assistance, and time for free play, crafting, and socializing. Our staff members are CPR/First Aid/AED certified and we maintain a ratio of 1:15. The after school program at Mount Airy Parks and Recreation provides parents with an affordable children care option during the school year from dismissal to 5:30pm.
During the summer we offer two locations to serve you - Reeves Community Center and Jones Intermediate School. Summer camp is open to children who have completed Kindergarten through age 12 from 6:30am until 5:30pm Monday - Friday. All participants will enjoy daily swimming, arts and crafts, games, and socializing time along with field trips and special events throughout the summer.
Our Childcare Nursery is a safe, supervised are that offers a healthy and active setting for children 6 weeks to age 5. Children may stay in the Childcare Nursery up to 2 hours per day while their parents work out at Reeves Community Center. Participants must have a membership in order to enjoy the nursery.
Parents may drop their child off:
Monday - Friday mornings 8:00am - 1:00pm (Please call ahead to reserve a spot for your child at 336-786-8313)
Monday - Thursday evenings 5:15pm - 7:15pm (No reservation is required at this time)
Fit N Fun is located downstairs beside the gym and offers children from kindergarten to age 12 a supervised area to work out on smaller sized equipment, play the memory board, or complete a circuit of our specialized core and strength boxes available just for them. Fit N Fun is open Monday - Thursday in the afternoon/evening. Participants must have a membership in order to enjoy the nursery.

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm
It is available daily for participants ages 18 and above.
Wi-fi is also provided on-site free of charge to our members.
