Adult Athletics
Mount Airy Parks & Recreation offers Adult Athletic programs year-round for any adult wanting to stay in the game! Adults age 18+ can form or join a team and participate in Volleyball, Softball, Kickball and Basketball.
For each league, team registration is offered. There will be a Manager's Meeting one month prior to each league's opening day. Rules, scheduling, questions from managers, and any other information will be discussed and handed out at this meeting.
More information about each program is listed below. Pricing, Game Days, and League Dates may vary based on league demands from season to season. Additional information on each program can be seen below the table.

Spring Programs
Men’s Open Softball (Men's Open Softball will only be offered in the fall due to field availability)
Ages: 18+
Game days: Games are played on Wednesday and Friday nights at Westwood Park.
Description: Sanctioned by USSSA, Mount Airy Parks and Recreation offers Men’s Open Adult Softball. Teams are comprised of men assembled by a team manager. A manager’s meeting will be held prior to registration to review rules, team entry, and other information. Registration will be held until the late March. League play will begin in early April and will conclude with a double-elimination tournament in June.
Men’s Church Softball (Men's Church Softball will only be offered in the fall due to field availability)
Ages: 18+
Game days: Games are played on Tuesday and Friday nights at Westwood Park.
Description: Sanctioned by USSSA, Mount Airy Parks and Recreation offers Men’s Church League Softball. Teams are comprised of players assembled from members and regular attendees of a place of worship. A manager’s meeting will be held prior to registration to review rules, team entry, and other information. Registration will be held until the late March. League play will begin in early April and will conclude with a double-elimination tournament in June.
Ladies’ Adult Softball
Ages: 18+
Game days: Games are played on Monday and Thursday nights at Westwood Park.

Ages: 18+
Game days: Games are played on Tuesday nights at Reeves Community Center.
Description: This addictively fun program is offered for teams of men and women assembled by a team manager. A manager’s meeting will be held prior to registration to review rules, team entry, and other information. Registration will be held in early September. League play will begin in mid September and end with a tournament in November.
Co-ed Adult Kickball
Ages: 18+
Game days: Games are played on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Graham Field.
Description: Following the guidelines of USSSA Co-ed Softball, Mount Airy Parks and Recreation offers an adult version of the playground classic! Kickers will kick and field boy-girl-boy-girl in a fun and social atmosphere. Teams will be comprised of men and women assembled by a team manager. A manager’s meeting will be held prior to registration to review rules, team entry, and other information. Registration will be held in late August. League play will begin in early September and end with a tournament in late October.
Men’s One Pitch Softball
Ages: 18+
Game days: Games are played on Tuesday and Friday nights at Westwood Park.
Description: Sanctioned by USSSA, Mount Airy Parks and Recreation offers Men’s One Pitch Adult Softball. Teams are comprised of men assembled by a team manager. Batters walk into the box with a 3-2 full count! This fast-paced twist to the classic is played into deep fall. A manager’s meeting will be held prior to registration to review rules, team entry, and other information. Registration will be held at the conclusion of the Summer Season. League play will begin in October and end with a tournament in November.
Winter Programs
Men’s Open Basketball
Ages: 18+
Game days: Games are typically played on Wednesday nights as well as a couple Monday nights.
Description: Mount Airy Parks and Recreation offers Men’s League Basketball for Open teams. Teams are comprised of men assembled by a team manager. A manager’s meeting will be held prior to registration to review rules, team entry, and other information. Registration will be held in late November and league play will begin in early December and end with a tournament in early February.
Church League Basketball
Ages: 18+
Game days: Games are typically played on Saturday afternoons as well as a couple Monday nights.

Ladies’ Basketball
