Attention, City of Mount Airy Residents!
The Public Works Department asks for your patience as we struggle to collect yard waste throughout the community. We have not managed to catch up from the windstorm earlier in the month, and the additional debris created by the snowstorm this past weekend has put us even further behind. Spring Cleanup begins this week and will tax our resources even further.
We plan to focus on the piles that have been on the street the longest, but we promise everything will be collected as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
