Notice to Bidders
Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Mount Airy, North Carolina at the Public Works Building, until 2:00 o'clock p.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2023 and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor, tools, materials, and equipment for resurfacing of existing streets and all related work for the City of Mount Airy, North Carolina.
Special Notice: All work on this contract must be completed by June 15, 2023.
Bids are to be addressed to Lee Wright, Public Works Building, City of Mount Airy, 440 East Pine Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030. Complete plans, specifications, and contract documents are available for inspection between 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday at the Public Works Building. General Contractors are notified that Chapter 87, Article 1, General Statutes of North Carolina, will be observed in receiving and awarding general contracts.
The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
