Mount Airy Police Department Crime Alert Program

The program is for any citizen who would like to be notified by email from the police department about crimes and other police related activities in the community. For example, if there is a rash of break-ins in a certain area the police will send an alert to raise awareness so citizens can better guard against and be alert to suspicious activity in these and surrounding areas. Those receiving the emails are encouraged to pass the information along to others in and around the community via email, word of mouth, etc….
