MISSION
The mission of the Mount Airy Police Department is to reduce crime and promote
the quality of life in our community. We are committed to accomplishing this by
meeting current and future needs through a continued partnership with our community
leaders and the citizens we serve. We will serve with integrity while treating all
citizens in a fair and unbiased manner. We will display in all aspects of our
lives loyalty, sound judgment and professionalism. The Mount Airy Police
Department is forever dedicated to the belief, the police are the public
