Engineering Division
The City of Mount Airy Engineering Division stays involved in many projects dealing with the construction of water and sewer mains, storm drainage and streets. All projects, public and private, are inspected in-house and are reviewed to ensure they meet the specs set by the City of Mount Airy. Once the utilities are constructed, the Engineering Division is responsible for correctly mapping the utilities and adding them to the City's record drawings. We also ensure all City utility systems comply with regulations set forth by the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources. |
